The 2013 National Night Out in Anderson County will be held on Thursday, October 24, at the Civic Center of Anderson at 3027 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd starting at 6 p.m. The public is invited to come out and meet their local heroes in law enforcement, fire departments and EMS who will have trick-or-treat candy and other activities.
The event will include Give-aways and prizes; Halloween costume contest for infants – 16 years of age; Up close look at emergency vehicles and first responder equipment; Free trick-or-treat candy from first responders anda “Thriller” Flash Mob Dance, with music provided by an upstate radio station. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
