A motorcyclist struck a deer Sunday night on Melton Road near Sargent Road. The driver was checked at the scene by EMS but declined to be transported to the hospital. The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. There was no information available on the deer. Walker – McElmoyle firefighters assisted EMS and did traffic control at the scene.
