The Christmas Park in Williamston will feature a live nativity scene presented by members of Calvary Baptist Church, Williamston. The live nativity will open November 30 and will be presented from 6 – 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night through December 22.

In addition to characters portraying Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, and wise men, live animals including lambs and sheep will be a part of the scene. The nativity will be staged at the east end of the park where the Bethlehem building is located.

Greeters representing Calvary Baptist will be in the park to hand out printed narratives of the story being portrayed to Christmas Park visitors.

“Our Calvary members look forward to presenting this gift to the Williamston community and to Christmas Park visitors to focus us all on the real meaning of Christmas,” said Travis Berry, minister of music and worship. For more information, call him at 847-9215.
