The recent freezing temperatures have turned the fountain in front of Gray Mortuary in West Pelzer into an ice sculpture. Brian Bishop took this photo of the fountain and sent it to The Journal to share with our readers. Temperatures ranging from the single digits to the mid 20s have caused several area residents to experience frozen or broken pipes and heat units to continue running during the last few days. Weather forecasters say that the artic air mass will move out of the area soon with temperatures returning to normal.
