Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Feb. 7 – A thirteen year old white male student at Palmetto Middle School was suspended for 10 days and referred to DJJ after school officials found a knife and a cigarette lighter in a sling back pack. PTL/SRO D. Crawford investigated.
Feb. 15 – William Tyler Clem, 24, 211 Sullivan St., Williamston reported someone entered his fenced backyard and removed two canines. The missing dogs, a Jack Russell valued at $100 and a Border Collie valued at $300, were later found running at large in the town limits. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
Feb. 16 – Brandon Steve Duncan, 32, 416 Belton Dr., Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence after officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic situation. G.. Cremer, Constable C. Trotter investigated.
Feb. 17 – Three people were arrested in a drug bust at 803 Tripp St. in Williamston.
Facing charges are: James Milford Hollingsworth III, 26, 103 F Family CR#F, Piedmont is chagred with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamhetamine.
Hayley Breanne Gunter, 21, 803 Holliday Dam Rd. Honea Path is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Gunter also had an outstanding warrant in Georgia.
Cameraon Drake Clark, 20, 615 HI Taylor Rd., Williamston is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a stolen vehicle.
A stolen vehicle recovered was valued at $8,000. The incident took place at 803 Tripp St. Sgt. C. Whitfield, M. E. Simmons investigated.
