Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following:

Capt. Darrell Hill informed the various crime watch members that warrants have been signed against two people in connection with burglaries in the Piedmont and Easley area.

Travis Lee Skelton of 2614 Powdersville Rd. Easley is currently in jail in Pickens County on burglary charges that took place within Pickens jurisdiction. He is facing 10 burglary warrants. Diana Grace Foster of 140 S. 4th, Greenville is facing four accessory warrants.

The charges stem from burglaries at homes located on the following roads;

 Harrogate Lane, Easley,   (Case 2013-62448); Jameson Dr. Piedmont,   (Case 2014-03470); Mountain Lake Dr. Piedmont (Case 2014-03412); Spalding Court Piedmont, (case 2014-03403) and Old Greenville Hwy, Central, (case 2014-08273).

 EASLEY

Feb. 28 – J.D. Sparkman was dispatched to 106 Blackbird Lane where Pamela Burns, WF, 52, reported that her son, identity withheld by the ACSO, had been drinking all day. He came from the bedroom and fell and hit his head. He later resisted arrest and was charged with assault and battery third degree. He was transported by Pelzer EMS to Greenville Memorial Hospital and placed in emergency protective custody.

Feb. 28 – P.C. Henry responded to 198 Pepper Rd. where Bradley Weston reported the theft of his Ryobi miter saw, valued at $320.

Feb. 28 – A.F. Acevedo responded to 125 Pepper Rd. where Vicki Davis reported the breaking into of her home and the theft of electronics, jewelry, collectible coins and cash. The loss was estimated at $12,500.

PELZER

Feb. 28 – C.T. McBee responded to 1055 Easley Hwy. to Asset Recovery Associates, where Brian Mullins reported finding a firearm in the glove compartment of a vehicle he had repossessed the night before.

Feb. 28 – D.A. Hammond was dispatched to 106 Meadowwood Dr. where Frederick Johnson reported the theft of the SC license tag #DGG672 from his vehicle.

March 3 – A.F. Acevedo responded to 118 Meadowwood Dr. where Amy Jump reported the theft of lawn and garden equipment from her trailer. The loss was estimated at $2300.

March 1 – C.P. Huff received a telephone report from Tyler Jordan, of 114 Meaddowwood Dr., reporting the theft of a vehicle and a dirt bike, as well as the entering of a second vehicle. The loss was estimated at $37,500.

March 2 – J.L. Martin was dispatched to 11 Langley St. where Sam Watts reported the theft of a collection of fishing rods and reels valued at $1250.

WILLIAMSTON

Feb. 28 – C.R. Carroll responded to 6 Little Beaver Creek Rd. where Felicia Alexander reported that her neighbor, name and identity withheld by ACSO, had borrowed her car and failed to return it.

March 1 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 307 Sweetgum Circle, where Laura Vaughn reported that someone had broken into her car and stolen a firearm from the glove compartment. The loss was estimated at $450.
