MINNIE RUTH DAVENPORT
Minnie Ruth Davenport, 86, of Belton, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Clayton Jones and the late Dessie Martin Jones.
She retired from Duke Power and was a member of First Baptist Church of Belton.
Surviving are her husband, John Charles Davenport; daughter, Debbie Davenport Blume of Williamston; and Beth Davenport McGee of Iva; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Grace Jones of Belton.
A graveside service was held Friday, April 18 at Garden of Memories in Belton.

WYLDA CHANDLER
Mary Wylda Chandler, 79, of Pelzer, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wilton and Mary Helen Pearson Chandler. She taught at Travelers Rest High School. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church.
Funeral was held Monday, April 21 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

JOY LAND
PELZER—Joy Rena` Land, 49, died Friday, April 18, 2014.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of Linda Joy Williams Land Motte and the late James Randolph Land. She attended All Faiths Chapel at Whitten Center.
Surviving are her mother; stepfather, Eddie Motte of Pelzer; brother, Tony Land (Donnelle) of Pelzer; nephew, Thomas Land; and niece, Jennifer Land.
She was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Walt and Agnes Williams and paternal grandparents, Bub and Elsie Land.
A graveside service was held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mickey Gambrell officiating.  Visitation followed the service at the cemetery.

J. R. MITCHELL
John Rudolph “Pop” Mitchell, 88, of Piedmont, died Friday, April 18, 2014.
He was the son of the late David E. and Texie “Rilla” Mitchell.  A Navy veteran, he retired from J.P. Stevens in Piedmont. He was a member of Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are his daughter, Yvonne Dickson of Piedmont; son, David Mitchell of Greenville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral as held  Monday at Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

DOROTHY ‘DOT’ SENKBEIL
Dorothy “Dot” Jones Senkbeil, 90, formerly of Greer, widow of Oscar H. Senkbeil, died April 16, 2014.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ennis and Daisy Belue Jones. She retired from Her Majesty. She was a member of Greer First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Bull of Powdersville; three sisters, Beatrice Shannon of Lexington, Patricia Parkman of Columbus, Ga and Christine Smith of Laurens; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel.

ESTHER MAE GLENN
Esther Mae Glenn, 76, of Greenville, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her home. Born in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Francis Glenn and Harriett Johnson.
Surviving are sisters, Mary Foster of Spartanburg, Rachel Betsill of Enoree, Joan McCrary of Greenville, and Helen Williams of the home; brothers, James Glenn of Taylors, and Edward Glenn of Piedmont.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 21 at Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

MELISSA BRITZELMAYR
Melissa Leigh Miller Britzelmayr, 39, of Greer, died April 20, 2014 at her home.
Born in Greer, she was a daughter of Robert and Shirley Tillotson McCarter of Greer.
Also surviving are her husband, Ingmar Britzelmayr of the home; two daughters, Kameron McCleer of Williamston and Lindsey Britzelmayr of the home; and two sisters, Michelle Martin of Taylors and Melanie Waterhouse of Greer.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.
