The Anderson County Fire Department has ordered an evacuation of residents on Penny Lane, near the Scale House on I-85 Northbound at Exit 9. According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, an 18-wheeler truck is leaking acid at the scale house location. Residents on Penny Lane are asked to evacuate to the Double Springs Church. An Anderson County Deputy is on-scene to facilitate the evacuation.
