Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:

EASLEY

June 20 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 226 Sitton Rd. where Peter Stevenson reported that someone had stolen a trailer valued at $2500.

June 21 – J.E. Scott responded to 501 Riley Rd. where Rachel Johnson reported that her nephew, Nicholas Johnson, BM, 21,6’2″, 170 pounds, and his girlfriend, name and description withheld by ACSO, had been arguing. The girlfriend said that Nicholas had assaulted her with a beer bottle. Nicholas Johnson was arrested and transported to ACDC.

June 22 – C.P. Huff responded to the WalMart Superstore on Hwy. 153 where store manager Matt Davis reported that two people, names and descriptions withheld by ACSO, had stolen items and one of them had shoved store personnel and fled.

June 22 – J.M. Pelfrey responded to the Spinx convenience store where he placed a woman, name and description withheld by ACSO, on trespass notice because she was panhandling.

June 22 – J.E. Scott was dispatched to the WalMart Superstore where he placed Alteric Hunt, BM, 43, 5’9″, 150 pounds under arrest for shoplifting.

PELZER

June 20 – S.L. Steward was dispatched to 129 Brookview Circle where James Miller reported that he returned home to find that his roommate, name and description withheld by ACSO, would not let him in the house. Steward called what’s her name on her cell, and when she came outside, he explained to her that it would take an eviction notice against Miller to deny him entry, since he had been living there for more than a year. She let him in.

June 20 – T.A. McCarley responded to 17 Conner St. where Dean Franklin reported that someone had broken into his work truck and stolen tools valued at $600.

June 21 – J.L. Martin responded to 12 Capers St. at the boat ramp, where Daniel Edens reported that while swimming, he found several items on a sandbar that he believed were used in methamphetamine production.

June 21 – J.E. Scott responded to 525 Rogers Rd. where Thomas Smith, Jr. reported that someone had broken into his storage trailer and stole items valued at $60.

June 22 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 512 Easley Hwy. where Lucy Wilkins reported that someone had vandalized the air conditioning unit and electric meter on the residence. The damage and loss was estimated at $5300.
