Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

June 18 – Shamar Donnye St. John, 17, 39 Market St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrant with Anderson County. M. E. Simmons investigated.

June 19 – Amy Suzanne Johnson, 41, 40 McAlister Rd., Williamston was arrested for distrubing the peace after officers were dispatched to the address in reference to a domestic disturbance. L. E. Mulz, C. Samuel investigated.

June 19 – Freddie Lamar Hurst, 46, 25 Black St,. Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence (CDV) after officers observed a male and female sitting in the middle of the Veterans Park. The female, Kaitlin Nicole Criner, 23, of 25 Black St. appeared to be crying and in pain. Upon investigation, it was determined that Hurst had thrown a soft drink bottle at Criner, hitting her in the shoulder area. She was transported by EMS to AnMed.Cpl. L. E. Mulz, C. Samuel investigated.

June 22 -Roger Welborn reported a tag missing from a 1999 /Dodge van at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1300 Anderson Drive. The tag was valued at $25. PTL/SRO D. Crawford investigated.

June 23 – Officers investigated a possible burglary at 19 Payne Drive after a blue vehicle was seen traveling up and down the road at an unusual slow rate of speed. Reports state the residence is vacant and appeared to be secure, however a building located behind the residence was not secured. M. E. Simmons investigated.

June 22 – Kristen Hope Cauble, 24, 115 C. St. Williamston reported prescription medication and $20 in currency stolen from a purse located inside her white Chevrolet Lumina. M. E. Simmons investigated.
