Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following:

PIEDMONT

June 20 – C.P. Huff responded to 737 Cooper where Frankie Hunt reported that someone had broken into his storage shed at that location and stolen tools, auto parts, and a watercraft. The loss was estimated at $1120.

June 20 – J.E. Scott was dispatched to 107 Shallow Pond Court where Brian Smalls reported the theft of three Troy Bilt weed eaters, two Poulan chain saws, a deer stand, and several Ryobi power tools valued at a total of $2150.

June 21 – A.F. Acevedo responded to 216 Hopsewee Dr. where Stacy Campbell reported the theft of her license tag #JHB248.

June 21 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 119 Beech Island Dr. where Shemika Maher reported that someone had slashed two tires on her vehicle at a cost of $200.

June 21 – J.E. Scott responded to 9617 Hwy. 81 N where Derrel Long reported that someone had damaged the entryway at his deceased mother’s vacant house. The damage was estimated at $100.

June 23 – J.E. Scott was on patrol in a new subdivision off of Hwy. 153 when he observed a white SUV in the area. He made contact with the driver, Jason Richardson, and his passenger Jessie Tyner, WM, 30, 6’, 175 pounds of Greenville. Tyner proved to have an active warrant and was also in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and taken to ACDC.

WILLIAMSTON

June 20 – B.S. Chandler responded to 430B McAllister Rd. where Michael Babcock reported the theft of an air conditioning unit as well as a 1985 Ford Bronco. The loss was estimated at $3500.

June 20 – J. M. Pelfrey responded to 456 Guyton Rd. where Tina Hubbard reported that her husband Mark Hubbard, WM, 47, 6’, 240 pounds, brn/blue had assaulted her during an argument. Despite protesting his innocence, Hubbard was arrested and taken to ACDC.
