DEEVA JOYCE COBB SWANEY
Deeva Joyce Cobb Swaney, 64, of Anderson died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Fellowship Health and Rehab.
Born in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Cobb and the late Annie Posey Cobb. She retired from Gerrish Milliken.
Surviving are her son, Tiny Bill Swaney of Anderson; two brothers, William and Franklin Cobb, both of Texas; sister, Rubyann Barry of Pelzer; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James William Swaney.
Funeral service was held in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on July 11. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
ROBERT A. ANDERSON
Robert A. Anderson, 86, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at his home.
Born in Griffin, AK, he was son of the late Cyril and Myrtle Savage Anderson, and husband of the late Bebe K. Coffey Anderson.
He retired from the U.S. Army and was a special education teacher in Oconee County Schools.
Surviving are two sons, Donald and Robert Anderson of Powdersville; two daughters, Kathryn Wilson of Durango, CO and Kari Tankersley of Pendleton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
