Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following:

EASLEY

July 11 – 13 – Several people were caught shoplifting at the WalMart Super Center at 11410 Anderson Rd.. Heather Alley, WF, 38, of Liberty; Stephanie Harvey, WF, 27, of Easley were both placed under arrest, while three other subjects were placed on trespass notice, but not charged.

July 12 – C.C. Brazier responded to Colonial Dr. where two neighbors, Cindy Childers and Dianne Allison, reported that their vehicles had been egged during the night. No damage was done and no one was apprehended.

July 13 – J. Velez was dispatched to 112 Cely Dr. where Mark Wells reported that someone, name and description withheld, punched him.

PELZER

July 11 – S.R. Davis responded to 141 Joe Black Rd. where Melissa Meyers reported that someone had broken into her home and ransacked the house looking for valuables.

July 11 – C.C. Brazier responded to 508 Woodcock Rd. where he placed Benjamin Holdbrooks, WM, 32, 5’9″, 185 pounds, brn/brn, under arrest for trespassing after notice.

July 11 – J.R. Richey was dispatched to 106 Briar ridge West where Kassey Erwin said when she and her boyfriend met his ex to pick up his children at the BiLo, a fight ensued and the ex, name and description withheld by ACSO, threw her down.

July 12 – L.E. Johnson responded to 5 Smith St. where he took a kitten into custody to be placed on rabies hold after biting a young girl.

July 12 – C.C. Brazier responded to Rogers Outdoor Equipment at the corner of Hwys. 81 and 8, where James King reported that a 48 year old white male, name withheld by ACSO, had written a bad check for almost $19,000 worth of lawn equipment.

PIEDMONT

July 11 – P.C. Henry responded to 2401 River Rd. where Ronald Nimmons Jr. reported the theft of his license plate, SC tag # HRB 482.

July 11 – S. Dunlap responded to the Pilot Station at 110 Frontage Rd. where he placed Robert Price, WM, 42, 5’11″, 170 pounds, from Gaffney, under arrest for shoplifting and possession of synthetic marijuana and paraphernalia.

July 14 – P.F. Elliott responded to 134 Leader Rd. where a company called Janpak is located. Dick Knipfer reported that someone had broken into the back of several cargo trucks.

WILLIAMSTON

July 11 – K.D. Lollis was dispatched to 12 Hilltop Circle where Lydia Cottrell reported that she and her estranged husband, name and description withheld by ACSO, had argued about getting back together and he smashed the mirror on her car. The loss was estimated at $200.

July 12 – J.R. Richey responded to 307 Anita Dr. where a man named Dawson, who was the victim, said that Joe Rodrigues, WM, 38, 5’4″, 185 pounds had assaulted him following a dispute over money. Dawson subsequently had an epileptic seizure and had to be transported to AnMed for treatment. No arrest was made but the case was to be presented to a magistrate.
