Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

July 21 – Thomas Gerald Allred, 36, 112 Meares Dr., Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension after a Ford Explorer was observed on Bigby St.

July 21 – Bert Leethomas Lahue, 32, 114 Davis St., Williamston was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic situation involving a gun. The gun was in the glove box of Lahue’s vehicle. Before investigating officers secured the gun from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, officers found a pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine and a Marlboro cigarette box containing 1.5 grams of methamphetamine which field tested positive as meth. July 21 – Robert Anthony Evatt, 30, 13 Calhoun St., Williamton reported prescription pills including Klonipin, Ambien and Oxycodone taken from his residence. J. Sargent investigated.

July 20 – Reginald Lee Holloway, 55, 30 Market St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant with the Belton Police Department after officers responded to 320 E. Carolina St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

July 18 – Jason Webb Junior, 35, 124 Harper St., #B Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for shoplifting after officers observed a red color SUV at a traffic safety checkpoint on South Academy St. and Mahafey. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 18 – Sebastian Jose Arnoldo, 26, 19 Ellison St., Williamston was issued a uniform citation for no SC drivers license after he was observed operating a 2007 Suzuki at a traffic safety check point at Academy St., and Durham St. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 18 – Officers were dispatched to Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St., Williamston in reference to marijuana that was found in a staff restroom at the Freshman Academy. According to reports one small clear baggy containing approximately 3 grams of a green leafy substance was turned over to officers. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

July 17 – Nathan Wayne Johnson, 21, 126 W 1st St., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers observed a dark gray Chevrolet on Parker St. with only one functioning brake light. Reports state officers found a white bag containing a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana along with a black digital scale in Johnson’s pocket. Johnson, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was issued a UTT for the two charges. The driver of the vehicle was issued a warning for the defective brake light and violation of beginners permit. M. E. Simmons, J. B. Sanders investigated.

July 16 – George Aaron Campbell, 103 Southgate Circle, Piedmont reported he observed a white male in a white Chevrolet Suburban approach his equipment trailer at 1000 Academy St. and take a Husqvarna weed eater and a two gallon gas can valued at $210. C. Samuel, Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 16 – Larry Lemond Bond, 49, 114 Tripp St,. Williamston reported an assault in which he was hit in the face with a brick while at 309 East Carolina St. The incident remains under investigation. G. Cremer, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
