NEAL KING, CHARLES SELMAN, LEWANNA KENNEDY, PEGGY WELBORN-JAMES

NEAL KING
Robert Neal “Monkey Man” King, 55, of Pelzer, husband of Patricia Bearden King, died Saturday, August 23, 2014.
Born in Charleston, he was a son of the late Hugh Brock King.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by mother, Betty Joyce Timms Cleveland of Williamston; step-mother, JoAnn Stevens Williams of Mt. Pleasant; children, Nicole King of Pelzer, Stephanie Hawthorne of Piedmont, Nicholaus Roberts of Williamston, Amanda Armes of Pelzer, Stacey Phillips of Craytonville, Daniel Vaughn of Belton; sisters, Donna King Williams of Scott Air Force Base, IL, Alayne King Simmons of Belton, Debbie Trotter Gentry of Williamston, Lea Trotter Wilkes of Newberry, and Janet King Beckett of Johns Island, SC; brother, Steven Prescott of Awendaw, SC; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service were held Tuesday, August 26 at Gray Mortuary Chapel.

CHARLES SELMAN
Charles Oliver Selman, 62, of Williamston, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Clarence Oliver and Emma Lou Staggs Selman.
He was formerly employed with Blair Mills.
Surviving are brothers, Buddy Ray Selman and Dallas L. Selman, both of Williamston; sisters, Shirley Selman Phillips of Belton and Robbie A. Cordell of Williamston.
A memorial service was held Friday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.

LEWANNA KENNEDY
BELTON-Lewanna Eloise Wilder Kennedy, 85, wife of Rev. Raymon Kennedy, died Sunday, August 24, 2014.
Born in Georgetown County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Edward and Mary Jane Blakeley Wilder. She was a homemaker, seamstress for B.C. Moore and a member of Daventon Baptist Church and also attended Ware Place Church of God.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by step-sons, Kit Kennedy of Belton and Darrell Kennedy of Ft. Worth, TX; step-daughters, Denise K. Jean of Belton, Brenda K. Haley of Columbia and Cynthia K. Beddingfield of St. Stephens; nephews, Jimmy Wilder and Andy Baylor of Andrews, and Ricky Wilder of Easley; and nieces, Sue W. Holcombe of Easley, Cathy W. Owens of Cincinnati, OH, Kristi Wilder and Darlene Ackerman of Andrews.
She was predeceased by her brother, James E. Wilder, Sr.
Visitation was held 1-3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. The funeral followed at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

PEGGY WELBORN-JAMES
Peggy Welborn-James, 69, of Greenville, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
She is survived by her children, Tina Delane Williams of Travelers Rest, Tasha Watson of Piedmont, Monique James of Greenville; sister, Maxie Phillips; and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, W.R. and Annie Mae Welborn.
Funeral service was held Sunday, August 24 at The Palmetto Mortuary.
