Williamston Police Officers recently investigated the following incidents:

Aug. 9 – Laura C. Wa,lker, 38, 17 Adger St., (Williamston) was arrested for expired tag, driving under suspension and no proof of insurance after a sible Dodge was observed on Main Street with an expired tag decal. Cpl. L. W. Mulz, C. Samuel investigated.

Aug. 10 – Daniel Keith Rogers, 27, E. First St., Williamston reported being struck in the face with a fist. The incident remains under investigation. PTL/SRO G. S. Hawkins investigated.

Aug. 10 – Todd Allen Metz, 52, reported locks cut on vacuums and other coin machines at Nick’s Carwash, 211 West Main St. Damage was estimated at $500. Sgt. K. J. Winn, G. Cremer investigated.

Aug. 13 – Dasurah Dever Pulley, 24, 804 Chesley Dr., Simpsonville was issued a summons for driving under suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle after a blue Mercury was observed on W. Main St. C. Bragg investigated.

Aug. 13 – Tyler Keith Jordan, 19, reported a black male entered a business at 612 Greenville Drive after business hours and left with a box of unknown items valued at $100. The items were recovered when the male subject brought the suspected stolen items to a local scrap metal place where he was captured on surveillance camera. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Aug. 14 – Jessica Nicole Wise, 23, no fixed address, reported a 2008 Ford Focus stolen from Williamston Park Apartments. The vehicle was valued at $3000. Items in the vehicle included a 32 inch flat screen TV valued at $200 and and Ipad 16G valued at $400. J. Sargent investigated.

Aug. 15 – Clyde Frank Hammonds, 95, 1407 Hammond Avenue, Williamston reported he confronted a white male in a red truck attempting to steal a refrigerator from the side of the house. The incident remains under investigation. G. Cremer invetigated.

Aug. 16 – Regina Robinson, 204 Williamston Court Williamston reported someone scratched both passenger doors of her vehicle with an unknown object. A passenger front tire was also flattened by an unknown item. Damage was estimated at $1000. J. B. Sanders investigated.

Aug. 17 – Donna Jean Woessner, 45, 215 Mauldin St., Williamston reported a black Galaxy S cell phone valued at $200 stolen from the residence. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Aug. 18 – Candace Nicole Bender reported theft of gasoline at 309 E. Main St,. Williamston. According to reports, a white male entered the store and placed a SCID and a pre-paid Visa Debit card on the counter and stated he was in a hurry and would come back in for the items. After pumping gas, he left without them. When the clerk attempted to process the transaction it was declined. The gas was valued at $54.03. C. Samuel investigated.

A warrant for escape was issued for Jonathan Murriel IV Black, 28, 2 Coker Circle after officers responded to a disturbance incident at 614 N. Hamilton St.
