LAND USE PERMITS APPROVED:
Michelin North America US-8 Facility Warehouse Expansion located on Bib Way, Anderson.
Robert Bosch Expansion located on Highway 81 North, Anderson;
Spinx Refueling Station located on Whitehall Road, Anderson; Stanco, 60,000 square foot industrial facility located at Alliance Blvd. Williamston
GRADING PERMITS ISSUED:
Stanco, 60,000 square foot industrial facility located at Alliance Blvd. Williamston.
PLAN REVIEW:
Wal-Mart Express located on SE Corner of Johnson Road and BHP Highway (76);
Proposed Bojangles Restaurant located on SC Highway 86 near Old Highway 17 Piedmont;.
YMCA Powdersville;
Shoppes at Center Point located on Highway 153;
E&I Industrial located on Supreme Industrial Park Drive.
Staff processed three(3) applications for upcoming public hearings meeting scheduled for September for District 1, 3, & 5 with the Citizens Advisory Committee for the following;
Special Exception Application for Craytonville fire department located at McAdams School Road and Shirley Dairy Road, Honea Path (District 3)
Special Exception Application for a proposed crematory building and reception area located on Highway 81N for (District 1)
SUBDIVISION REVIEW
Shiloh Creek Subdivision Phase II, 24 residential lots are proposed. The property is located off of Shiloh Church Road.
SOLID WASTE:
Held a preconstruction meeting with Joyce Engineering and Belk Company to discuss the construction of the new Slabtown and Carswell Convenience Centers. Construction will begin on 9/10/14 on both sites, projected to open around December 15, 2014.
