The Palmetto Area Cultural Arts Center at The Artory is offering a “Mini-Quarter” winter session of classes beginning the week of Nov. 17, and ending the week of Dec. 8.

POTTERY, JEWELRY, PHOTOGRAPHY

CLASSES MEET ONCE WEEKLY FOR FOUR WEEKS:

On Mondays beginning Nov. 17 from 4:15 until 5:30 pm- POTTERY- Young students aged 6-12 can create original hand-made POTTERY for Christmas, under the direction of Thomas Addison.

On Tuesdays beginning Nov. 18 from 6:30 until 8:00 pm- JEWELRY (BEADING & WIREWORK)- Older teens and adults can participate in the most popular class of our recent Fall session and create original JEWELRY under the direction of Clara Harrison.

Also on Tuesdays beginning Nov. 18 from 6:30 until 8:00 pm- DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY- Older teens and adults can learn to capture those Christmas memories using the tips and tricks the professionals use to create more interesting and professional photographs! Under the direction of Tom Lee.

QUILLING, CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

CLASSES MEET ON TWO SELECT SATURDAYS:

On Saturday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, December 6 from 9:30 until 11:00 am- QUILLING & HANDMADE CHRISTMAS CARDS- Students aged 13 to adult will learn the traditional Victorian art of Quilling to decorate one-of-a-kind cards, presents, and invitations. Under the direction of Thomas Addison.

On Saturday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, December 6 from 12:30 until 2:00 pm- HANDMADE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS- Students aged 6-12 to will learn a variety of techniques to create their own original Christmas tree ornaments. Under the direction of Thomas Addison.
