Tarleton was last seen Friday evening, December 12, at approximately 5:30pm at the BiLo in Pelzer and he may have been at the Walgreens on Clemson Boulevard around 10pm.

He is described as a white male, age 72, 5’8″, 165 lbs., with gray hair and blue eyes; he also wears glasses. Per the family, he may be showing early signs of dementia. He was last seen wearing black dress pants, a plaid shirt and gray shoes. He was driving a 2013 black-in-color Chevrolet Malibu displaying SC tag ALJ-147.

At this time, there does not appear to be any suspicious activity which led up to his disappearance. His family is worried about him and they hope that the citizens of Anderson County can help locate him.

Anyone who may have seen Mr. Tarleton or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Matt Ritter at (864) 222-6652 or the Sheriff’s Office at (864) 260-4400.
