Several people were injured in an accident on Hwy. 20 near Cedar Grove Elementary School Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. Belton and Williamston EMS were on the scene working with an elderly person in one vehicle and two other people in another. Injuries did no appear to be life threatening. The driver of a truck and SUV also involved in the four vehicle accident were uninjured. All four vehicles were traveling in the same direction on Hwy. 20. One lane of traffic remained open while responders awaited SC Highway Patrol.
