Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:

EASLEY

Feb. 6 – P.C. Henry received a telephone complaint from Bruno Difilippo, of 205 S. Severin Circle, reporting the theft of a black and red Toro weed trimmer and five gallons of gas. The loss was estimated at $182.

Feb. 8 – P.D. Marter responded to the Super WalMart where Keith Reese, loss prevention officer, reported that a white male, in his 30s, driving a gray Chevy 4WD Z-71 truck had pulled up behind the store and begun loading metal shelves into his truck. An employee happened to come out of a side door and the driver fled, losing some of the shelves. The loss was estimated at $200.

Feb. 8 – D. McQueen responded to 604 Old Anderson Rd. where Daniel Bennett reported getting profane and threatening calls and texts.

Feb. 9 – A.C. Guthrie was dispatched to 1101 Briarwood Dr. where Alexandria Laboone reported that someone entered her car and stole a purse valued at $150 and a Cobra radar detector valued at $150.

Feb. 9 – A.C. Guthrie responded to 144 Woodstone Dr. where Jay Gambrell reported that someone had broken into his truck and stolen hunting and outdoors equipment and accessories valued at $480.

PELZER

Feb. 9 – C.P. Huff responded to 110 Bent Creek Rd. where Sherry Neighbors reported that someone had thrown a large rock through the rear window of her vehicle.

PIEDMONT

Feb. 6 – J.M. Pelfrey responded to 101 Elrod Place Rd. where James Gowan reported that someone had broken into his neighbor’s shed, and he had frightened them off. The neighbor, who does not use the residence as a primary home, came to the scene and reported that a weed eater had been stolen.

Feb. 6 – P.C. Henry received a telephone complaint from Robert Armfield, of General Shell Company, located at 425 Oak Rd. in Piedmont, reported that two individuals had stolen 300 gallons of fuel from the premises, valued at $580.
