Sheriff’s office still looking for theft suspect

Anderson County Sheriff’s Investigators continue to look for for Tommy Houston Snead, Jr. in connection with several grand larcenies from a location in the Williamston area.

 

rsz_1rsz_snead_jr_tommy_houston_photoWarrants for Snead’s arrest have been issued. He is currently charged with two counts of Grand Larceny but additional charges are pending.

Investigators are actively working this case but they need the public’s assistance to help track down Snead. Snead is described as a white male, age 38, 5’9”, 200 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address is 4 Bryant Street, Greenville.

The thefts began in mid-February at a residence on Anderson Highway in Williamston, where the homeowner had stored large spools of cable and copper wiring.

Once Snead found out about the wire, it is believed he began stealing from the location on a regular basis. To-date the owner has been deprived of nearly $20,000 worth of property. Snead is the suspect in the larcenies.
