Whitefield firefighters work with the driver of a moped Monday night on Highway 29 near Breazeale Road as a Belton EMS ambulance pulls up. The moped was apparently struck deliberately by a car. The car then left the scene. The moped driver was taken to AnMed Health by EMS. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department was called to investigate. (Photo by David Rogers)
