Piedmont 4-wheel fugitive arrested

Jesse Clay Riffle, wanted after he ran from Greenville County Deputies at E. Main St. and Bessie Road in Piedmont Friday afternoon, has been arrested in Anderson County.

Jesse Clay RiffleRiffle had 17 active warrants for his arrest that include, multiple larceny warrants, possession of stolen vehicle warrants, failure to appear warrants, and violation of probation warrants.

Riffle, 26, approximately 5’7″, and 145 pounds, fled on a camouflage four-wheeler wearing a blue t-shirt.

From Anderson County Sheriff’s Report:

April 25 – Deputy J.E. Scott was patrolling near Langston Rd. and White Rd. when he observed a vehicle make a left hand turn with no signal. He initiated a traffic stop, and saw a passenger jump out of the truck before it actually stopped. He apprehended the passenger, Jesse Riffle, WM, 26, 5’8″, 150 pounds, brn/blue. Central dispatch confirmed that he was wanted on an active warrant.
