Powdersville firefighters along with Pelzer EMS personnel work at the scene of a single car accident on Old Pendleton Road Tuesday night. A PT Cruiser had previously wrecked in the vicinity of Old Pendleton Road and Sitton Hill. When emergency personnel arrived that vehicle had left the scene. Paramedics spotted the vehicle and began following it at a safe distance. The car ran off the right side of Old Pendleton Road, then crossed both lanes, and crashed into a ditch. The female driver was uninjured but placed under arrest by state troopers for suspicion of driving under the influence. (Photo by David Rogers)
