District One Graduation this Thursday

All three Anderson School District One High Schools willl hold graduation exercises this Thursday, May 28 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville.Powdersville High graduates will be the first to receive diplomas at 9 a.m. Palmetto High graduation services will be at 12:30. Wren High will be at 4 p.m.

Palmetto High Graduation

At Palmetto High graduation services Thursday at 12:30, Honor Grad Madison Mackenzy Davis will lead the Pledge of allegiance. A Capella Singers will present the National Anthem.

Honor Grad Clinton Daniel Davis will give a student response.

Honor Grad Samantha Lauren Ellison will welcome guests.

Salutatorian Rebekah Ann Parris will give her student address.

Alan Frew and Stephan Moccio will have a special choral presentation followed by PHS Band Concert Orchestra.

Valedictorian Brooke Ashley Ellison will give her student address.

Palmetto High Principal Robert Roach will introduce platform guests.

Board Chairman Fred Alexander, Superintendent David Havird, Principal Roach, Assistant Principal Mike Kelly and Assistant Principal Jason McCauley will present diplomas. Principal Roach will confirm graduates.

Honor Grad Channing Elizabeth Cox will have closing remarks. The Palmetto High Concert Band will lead the Alma Mater.

Honor Grad Katie Elizabeth Whiten will give a student response.

Powdersville High School

Powdersville High graduation will be held Thursday at 9 a.m.

Honor Grad Mary Catharine Patterson will designate a moment of reflection.

Pledge to the flag will be led by Tyler Stoneman, Honor Graduate

The Star Spangled Banner will be sung by Justine Polomski, Honor Graduate

Student Body President Allison Schweitzer will welcome guests.

Special music will be presented by Concert Choir members.

In addition to School District One Board of Trustees, Powdersville Area Administrators include Sherry Padgett, Concrete Primary; Debra T. Gill, Powdersville Elementary; Todd Binnicker, Powdersville Middle; Hollie Harrell, Career and Technology Center Director.

Powderville High Principal Dr. Chris Ferguson will recognize honors.

Valedictorian Ashlyn Briel McConnell will give her graduation address. Salutatorian Maxwell James Dierks will give his graduation address

Dr. Chris Ferguson, Lauree Cole, and Phillip Bramblett will award diplomas.

Honor Grads Savannah Bedenbaugh, Madison Wulf and Luke Nesbitt will lead the Alma Mater.

Wren High School

Wren High graduation services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Invocation will be given by Jessi Lynette Davidson, Honor Graduate.

The Wren NJROTC Color Guard will present colors. Pledge to the flag will be led by Serena Deedar Khaleghi, Honor Graduate

Honor Grad Holly Alyssa Perry will sing the National Anthem.

Student Body President and Honor Grad Katherine Rebecca Brady will welcome guests.

Special Music will be presented by Concert Choir Members including soloists Honor Grad Samuel Alexander Jacques and Grad Chatea Kiana Grayden.

Wren High Principal Nichole B. Boseman will recognize platform guests including Anderson District One Boar of Trustees Fred G. Alexander, Chairman; Brenda Ellison; Nancy O. Upton, Vice Chairman; Melissa Hood; David Merritt Jr.; Secretary Michael S. Wilson and Dr. Doug Atkins

Honor Grad Samantha Bryce Messamer will have a teacher tribute.

Principal Boseman will recognize honors.

Valedictorian Katherine Rebecca Brady will give her Graduation Address titled “A Place Called Wren.”

Salutatorian Erin Elizabeth Batson will give her Graduation Address titled “Wren in the World.”

Principal Boseman, Seth Young and Christopher Chapman will award diplomas to graduates.

Honor Grad Sarah Evelyn Wilson will lead the Alma Mater.

Honor Grad Courtney Nicole Acker will give the benediction.
