For November election
The Town of West Pelzer will hold a general election for the offices of mayor and two council seats on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 Citizens desiring to be candidates may file at the West Pelzer Town Hall, 3 Hindman Street West Pelzer. Books will be open for filing August 6 at 8am and remain open during regular business hours until August 20 at 5pm.
The filing fee for the office of mayor is $50. The filing fee for the office of council is $25. The election is a non-partisan, and no party affiliation shall be placed on the ballot.
Anyone desiring to vote in the upcoming election must be registered by October 3, 2015. To register, contact the Anderson County Board of Voter Registration.
The polling place is West Pelzer Elementary School, 10 W Stewart Street West Pelzer.
Voters will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs at their polling place:
S.C. Driver’s License
ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
Federal Military ID
U.S. Passport
