For Town Council
Pelzer had already seen six people sign up for the four seats that will be available in the November 3 election. Steve McGregor, the incumbent mayor, remains the only one to file for the mayor’s seat.
But you can add five new names to those seeking the four town council seats. Maggie Baer, Roger Scott, Sr., Will Ragland, Eve Holliday, Tony Riddle, and Donna Ide will be joined by Jimmy Harrison, Kim Wilson, Charles Emery, Cheryl Boudreau and Gilbert Garrett.
Heather Holcombe, town clerk, said that two nights have been set aside for citizens to meet the candidates. On September 17 and October 15, at 7 P. M. at the community building, any candidates who wish to will be on hand to introduce themselves and answer questions.
