Clarification – In last week’s police report, Kimberly A. Moody, 280 Cheddar Rd., Belton was issued a UTT for driving under suspension after a gold color 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee was observed on Main St., with a left brake light not working.

According to the report, Moody stated that she was unaware that she was suspended. The officer was advised by Central Dispatch that the tag and drivers license were suspended due to cancellation of insurance.

Moody was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket (UTT) courtesy summons. She was not arrested and transported to ACDC. A friend responded to the scene to take Moody home. Ellison Service Center took possession of the vehicle.

According to Moody, proof of insurance was provided to the Williamston Police Department the next day and the ticket was voided.

This week, Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Aug. 25 – Raquel Ellen Tabares, 25, 108 Davis St. #1 Williamston reported an unknown suspect(s) had entered her apartment and removed several items. Sgt. K. J. Winn, G. Cremer investigated.

Aug. 25 – Austin Leneer Mosley, 22, 310 E. Carolina St., Williamston, was arrested for possession of schedule 1 controlled substance and outstanding warrant after officers observed him with a group of males standing in the road at 19 Jehue St. Moseley fled to 19 Jehue St. and then into the Kudzu behind the residence. He was placed under arrest for three outstanding warrants with Williamston Police Department. During the arrest a search incident located a plastic baggy of a brown rock like substance believed to be MDMA (“Molly”) in his pocket along with $1019 in currancy. He was transported to ACDC without incident. S. N. Robison investigated.

Aug. 26 – Louis Luelle Nelson, 65, 309 Cannon Rd., Greenwood, SC was arrested for driving under suspension (failure to pay a traffic ticket) after a vehicle was observed traveling 47mph in a 35mph zone. He was transported to ACDC without further incident. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Aug. 27 – Officers investigated a vandalism incident in Mineral Spring Park in which the pipes to the urinal of the men’s rest room had been pulled out of the wall and trash scattered over the floor. R. Drennon investigated.

Aug. 27 – William Thomas Biscotto, 35, 16 Spring St., Williamston was arrested for possession with intent to distribute and felon in possession of a weapon after officers observed the driver of a blue moped fail to use a turn signal or hand sign while making a left turn onto Academy Street. According to reports Biscotto had a S&W Bodyguard 380 in a holster on his right hip. A plastic baggy with 8.9 grams of clear shards field tested as methamphetamineand a digital scale were also found with him. He was transported to ACDC without incident. S. N. Robison investigated.

Aug. 28 – April Joy Owens, 35, 15 Welborn St,. Williamston reported head phones valued at $175 taken from a purse in her vehicle while at 213 Mauldin St., in Williamston. Reports state Owens did not report the incident J. T. Hunt investigated.

Aug. 28 – Jill Suzanne Callaham, 572 Crawford Rd., Belton reported a check mailed to a business cashed, however the business KwickDraw Painters never received it. The incident remains under investigation as possible mail theft. G.. Cremer.

Aug. 28 – Nathan Curtis Rogers, 28, 3 Oakwood, Ct., Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrant with Belton PD after he was located at 1200 Anderson Dr., Williamston. He was placed under arrest and transported to Belton PD without incident. K. S. Looney, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Aug. 29 – Angela M. Dobson, 43, 208 Mill St., Williamston reported a black MP3 player valued at $30 taken from an unlocked vehicle at 4 West Main St. in Williamston. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Aug. 29 – Gary Shawneil Sanders, 36, 327 E. Carolina St., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officers were dispatched to 211 Williamston Court in reference to a loud noise complaint.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers searched the apartment and according to reports found a clear plastic baggie with a green leafy substance on the cabinet over the refrigerator, a silver marijuana grinder with marijuana residue on it and a cigar containing a green leafy substance. Sanders and a person identified only as Daniel was also arrested for simple possession of marijuana after no one claimed the marijuana. Both were issued a UTT. Gina Holbroooks, no additional information given, was issued a courtesy summons for possession of drug paraphernalia after admitting the grinder found in the apartment was hers. K. S. Looney, Sgt. K.
