Week of Sept. 23-30

Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Sept. 23 – Clifford Lee Dove, 26, 412 LaFrance Rd., Anderson was placed on trespass notice for Family Dollar, 1505 Anderson Drive after being observed on Anderson Drive and in the store. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 23 – John Durham, 110 Hardy St,. Williamston reported two 14kt white gold wedding rings valued at $3192 missing from a jewelry box. s. N. Robison investigated.

Sept. 23 – McDonalds of Williamston, 4 W. Main St., reported a white male in a black Yukon SUV attempted to make a purchase with a counterfeit $20 bill. The suspect stated he had received the bill as change at another Williamston store. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 24 – Latima Nicole Wells, 30, 713 McAlister Rd., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a gold Lincoln was observed on West Main St. According to reports, officers found several hypodermic needles in a purse and two baggies containing 7 grams of marijuana. A passenger in the vehicle, Kayla Louise Lopez, was also arrested for simple possession of marijuana after a burnt marijuana roach was found in a cigarette box belonging to her. S. N. Robison investigatated.

Sept. 24 – Officers were dispatched to 306 E. Main St., in reference to a burglary in which entry was gained through a carport door. The incident remains under investigation. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Det. Cremer investigated.

Sept. 24 – Officers were dispatched to 517 B. W. Main St. in reference to vandalism inside the property. R. Drennon investigated.

Sept. 24 – Officers were dispatched to 27 Traxler Ave. in reference to a break-in. A 9 mm Taurus valued at $400 was reported missing and other items moved. S. T. Parks investigated.

Sept. 26 – Zachary Ty Rankin, 17, 19 Walkers Hill Rd., Pelzer was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after being observed walking in the area of South Hamilton and Stone Drive. A pipe for smoking marijuana was found in his pocket. He was issued a UTT and transported to Anderson County Detention Center. J. S. Looney, J. T,. Hunt investigated.

Sept. 26 – Todd Ezekial Burris reported jewelry valued at $1350 taken from 11 Bruce St. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Sept. 27 – Christopher Guthrie, 26, 611 S. Hamilton St,. Williamston reported a dresser and box of items valued at $375 taken from an outside building. M Beeman, K. S. Looney investigated.

Sept. 29 – Charlotte Charlene Bigsby, 48, 108 W. 2nd St., Williamston reported two bicycles valued at $279 taken from the yard. The bicycles were a kids pink Next with butterflies on it valued at $79 and a black and silver Falcon bike valued at $200. S. T. Parks investigated.

Sept. 28 – Austin Anthony Kelley, 21, 108 Clinkscales St. Belton was arrested for driving under suspension, domestic violence and public intoxication after officers were dispatched to Academy St., and Crawford St. in reference to a domestic argument. Kelly was issued a UTT and transported to ACDC. S. N., Robison investigated.
