A police officer inspects a car following a chase Friday night. Williamston police department attempted to stop a car but the driver allegedly sped away. As the driver entered a curve on Crawford Road just outside the city limits he driver lost control of the car and ran off the roadway. He was arrested a short time later. (Photo by David Rogers)
