West Pelzer firefighters work at the scene of a two vehicle accident on Tuesday night. A northbound SUV struck a northbound pickup truck in the rear as both vehicles traveled on Highway 29.The SUV then ran off the roadway and into the median where the female driver got out and fled according to witnesses. Pelzer EMS also responded to the scene to check the driver of the truck but did not transport anyone to the hospital. (Photo by David Rogers)
