More than three years after assaulting his girlfriend and stealing her car, Brandon Maurice Williams, who was on the ACSO most wanted list, was taken into custody. Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Williams, 26, of Belton and served him with three outstanding warrants that were issued in April 2011 and February 2012.

Williams is charged with assault and battery-third degree, use of a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and the manufacture/distribution of methamphetamine. All three offenses stemmed from incidents involving his [then] estranged girlfriend.

According to reports, on February 4, 2012, Williams, BM, 21, 5’10″, 200 pounds, arrived at the home of Delia Crawford, at 1315 Phyllis Drive in Anderson, to discuss repairing their relationship. He soon became aggressive and began to assault her. She escaped and fled to her neighbor’s house, while Williams left in her car.

On November 22, 2015, Officer Kevin Looney located and arrested Williams on several charges.

He was transported from Anderson City Police Department’s jail facility, where he had been held for giving false information to the police.

He is currently incarcerated at the Anderson County Detention Center. His bond has been set at $19,092.50.
