A suspect arrested in an Anderson County chase has been linked to a kidnapping call from Greenville County Tuesday evening. According to Anderson County deputies, 35-year-old Cedric Lamont Lee was charged and taken to the detention center. Greenville County dispatch received a call in reference to a kidnapping around 5:45 pm. Anderson County deputies were notified that the suspect was headed in their direction. Anderson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy attempted to pull the suspect’s car over when a chase began on Murphy Road and ended on Big Creek Rd. Deputies were able to arrest Lee after he got out of the car and ran. A woman was also in the suspect’s car and taken to the hospital by EMS to be checked. (Photo by David Rogers)
