According to reports, at 5:11pm Tuesday, an Anderson County deputy sited a white Dodge Charger matching the description of a suspect vehicle referenced in a BOLO from Greenville County. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on Blake Dairy Road but the suspect ignored the deputy’s blue lights and siren, ran through two stop signs and continued to the intersection of Murphy Road and Big Creek Road, where he exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene on foot.

The pursuing deputy quickly apprehended Lee and transported him to the Anderson County Detention Center where he currently awaits a bond hearing. A female passenger in the vehicle was taken to Greenville Hospital for evaluation.

Several charges are pending against Lee, including failure to stop for blue lights. A hold has also been placed on him by Greenville County concerning charges in that jurisdiction.
