Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Mar. 24 – Clint William Watson, 23, 213 Woodtrail Dr., Williamston was arrested for drug related offenses after officers observed a man working on a truck parked in the roadway at Ida Tucker and Minor St. According to reports, due to the smell of marijuana coming from the truck, officers conducted a search of the vehicle. Watson turned over a small amont of marijuana he had in his pocket. A red lunch box contained several bags of marijuana, a small case with THC wax, several bags of different pills. A large envelope with Watson’s name on it was found with two large bags of marijuana. A pill bottle with Watson’s name on it contained an off white rock like substance field tested positive as Ectasy. Also two glass pipes, rolling papers, a scale, a large amount of small baggies and a S&W .380 firearm. Watson was placed under arrest for various drug/narcotic violations and cited for posssession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to ACDC and his 1997 GMC 1500 was towed. M. Crowe, S. N. Mar. 25 – Alicea Marie Carr, 19, 9 Elrod Dr., Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrant when she turned herself in at the lobby of the WPD. She was transported to ACDC without incident. K. Anthony investigated.

Mar. 25 – Doneshia Shekia Verdell, 19, 103 Middleton Blvd., reported someone entered through a bedroom window and stole approximately $2,000 in cash. Nothing else was reported missing. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 25 – Officers responded to 20 Morning Dr. in reference to a dead horse on the property. Upon contacting the property owner, officers were told the horse was euthanized by a Vet. Anderson County Detective Bruce, who specializes in the treatment of animals was called in to assist with the incident. Bruce stated that State Law requires large animals to be buried within 24 hours of their decease. A white horse and donkey on the property were under weight and the animal’s hooves had not been taken care of as they should. A written warning was issued and the subjects were advised to get a vet to check the animals to get a list of what they needed to regain their health. The incident remains under investigation. K. Mar. 25 – Vicki Lynn Durham, 47, 116 Jesse Dr., Easley was issued a citation/summons for no drivers license, manner of driving and operating an uninsured vehicle after a vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. The vehicle was towed and the driver released to a licensed driver. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Mar. 26 – Randall Dean Bruce, 49, 113 S. Piedmont Hwy., Pelzer was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear on public disorderly conduct charge. Bruce was arrested on E. Greenville Drive/E. Caroline St. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 26 – Joshua Scott Jamerson, 26, 2 Dacus Drive, Williamston reported an Echo weed eater valued at $200 taken from an enclosed trailer while he was cutting grass at 212 Waterfront Drive. The homeowner reported a man in his mid-twenties wearing a white t-shirt and driving a white van was seen taking the weed eater. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 26 – Michael James Dicicco, 54, reported someone going through a dumpster at Fat Guys Thrift Store, 555 W. Main St., in Williamston. No arrest was made. K. Anthony investigated.

Mar. 27 – Justin Daniel Ricketts, 27, 308 Brook St., Honea Path was arrested for outstanding bench warrant with HPPD after he was observed walking on Main Street near Prince St. in Williamston. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Mar. 27 – Chester Lee Stokes, 55, 302 S. Academy St., Williamston was issued a summons for driving under suspension after a passenger in a white GMC SUV he was driving was observed not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was released to the passenger who did have a valid SC Drivers License. K. Anthony investigated.

Mar. 27 – Bryan Matthew Fricks, 33, 1215 Dickens Ave., Williamston reported a golf cart valued at $2500 stolen from the property. K. Anthony investigated.

Mar. 28 – Jordan Wayne Deweese, 22, 9 Curtis Rd., Greenville was arrested for misrepresenting identity to law enforcement after a car was observed double parked at Goody’s, Town Square Center, Williamston. According to reports Deweese, 6’3” tall, 230 pounds was dressed like a woman and wearing a wig. When officers asked for ID, he presented a drivers license for Amanda Irene Brown, 5’3”, 180 lb. After getting his real name and date of birth, it came back as having a suspended driver’s license. M. Crowe investigated.

Mar. 28 – Nathan Lee Roach, 35, 314 Mahaffey Rd., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and weapon law violations after a burgundy Tahoe was observed disregarding a stop sign at Academy St. and Mahaffey St. A white male exited the passenger rear and fled on foot. The driver and front seat passenger were with the vehicle. When asked who was running, they replied “Terry”. A black bag was found in the driver’s floorboard with a small yellow baggy containing marijuana and a Keltec P3AT .380 (KXF28) was found between the seat and console. A Mossberg maverick 88 12 Ga. sawed off shotgun was also found in the rear pasenger seat. Roach was arresed and transported to ACDC. A stolen tag was also found in vehicle. S. N. Mar. 22 – Officers were dispatched to 3 West 3rd Street regarding a domestic incident which happened at 19 Lander St., in Williamston. According to reports there was an argument in which the husband held the victim (his wife) down in a chair. No arrest was made and further information will be obtained before seeking a warrant. Z. T.
