Williamston firefighters quick response is credited to preventing a fire at a local church from being any worse than it was. Firefighters responded to the Narrow Way Fellowship church Sunday afternoon after recent a call from church members. When firefighters arrived smoke was coming from the building. The source was quickly located and brought under control. Smoke was then removed by firefighters. Medshore Ambulance Service stood by until firefighters cleared them.
