Arrest made in indecent exposure in Anderson

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kevin Springer, 38, 110B Cypress Run, Anderson in connection with several indecent exposure incidents that have taken place over the past several months. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Springer confessed to at least three known incidents. According to the victims of all three incidents, the suspect was in a vehicle and called them over to him to receive directions. When the victims made it to the suspect’s vehicle they found that the suspect in each case had his genitals exposed and was seeking sexual gratification.

In one of these incidents which occurred at the Old Navy on Station Dr. in Anderson, the suspect was stopped in his vehicle as he was leaving the area by an Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy and Sheriff John Skipper.

During the investigation of the incident at the traffic stop the suspect confessed to the incident. Once the suspect posted bond, he made contact with deputy and further confessed to two more incidents. Springer is currently incarcerated at the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting another bond hearing.

It is believed that the suspect may have committed more indecent exposure acts that have yet to be reported. Sheriff Skipper stated, “Any other persons or victims are encouraged to contact the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office at (864)260-4435 to file a report which will be investigated thoroughly.”
