Sheriff’s office investigates five incidents

 

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office only reported investigating five incdents last week in the Piedmont, Pelzer and Williamston area and none in the Easley part of the county. Among incidents reported were the following:

 

PELZER

 

July 16 – D.J. Petiit received a telephone report from Donna Madden, of 257 Hardwood Rd. that someone had stolen her Better Homes patio furniture, valued at $500.

 

July 16 – T.K. Cook received a telephone report from Connie Crane, of 106 Law St. that her grandson, name and description withheld by ACSO, had taken her black Honda Civic, SC tag# LYN 174.

 

PIEDMONT

 

July 16 – D.J. Petit received a telephone complaint from Rita Burch, of 115 Botany Slope Rd. Burch stated that her mailbox, valued at $40, had been smashed by a ball bat.

 

July 18 – A.H. Mills received a telephone report from Daniel Frazier, at the Pilot convenience store at 110 Frontage Rd. stating that when he went inside the store, his friend, no name or description, drove off in his car without his permission.

 

WILLIAMSTON

 

July 16 – M.McCarty received a complaint while at the BP gas station at 1525 Anderson Hwy. About a counterfeit $20 bill. The bill was taken and placed into evidence.
