Deputies ask help to identify robbery suspect

Anderson County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking the public’s assistance to identify a white male responsible for the armed robbery of the Dollar General store in the Three & Twenty community. According to reports, on Friday, July 29, at approximately 9:50 p.m., a lone white male entered the Dollar General at 3309 Pelzer Highway, Easley, brandished a silver handgun and demanded the clerk give him the money from the register.

The suspect was clad in khaki trousers, a blue hoodie and a cammo University of Georgia cap.  He was also wearing a blue bandanna which covered his face. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber left on the store on foot.

No one was hurt and no shots were fired.
