Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:

EASLEY

Aug. 12 – S.S. Barnes was dispatched to 117 Mill Pond Rd. where Leslie Daniel reported that someone had entered her son’s vehicle and stolen items including electronics, clothing, a case of musical recordings, a wallet and some gift cards with a total value of $1325.

Aug. 14 – K.S. Looney responded to 101 Randall Rd. where Robert Diav reported the theft of his new 5X10 Leonard trailer. The loss was estimated at $1550.

Aug. 15 – J.K. Vickery responded to 220 Siloam Rd. to the Siloam Baptist Church Christian School, where Stephen Olson, associate pastor, reported the theft of musical equipment and electronics valued at $1650.

PELZER

Aug. 12- D.J. Petit was on patrol in the area of Holliday and Mill Streets when he saw a vehicle with an improperly displayed tag. He stopped the vehicle and discovered that Cody Poore, WM, 29, 6’2″, 150 pounds, of Williamston was driving on a suspended license. He was arrested and transported to ACDC.

Aug. 12 – K.S. Looney responded to 120 Bellview Circle where Tyler Strickland reported that Dale Luker, WM, 47, 5’9″, 220 pounds had struck him in the arm with a stick. Luker confirmed the accusation, saying that he had a brain in jury and could do whatever he wanted to. He was arrested for assault and battery and transported to ACDC.

Aug. 14 – S.S. Barnes was dispatched to 840 Bryant Rd. where Lara Morris reported that during a family dinner her brother, Brandon Gosnell, WM, 27, 6’1″, 180 pounds, had punched her in the face. He then fled the scene. Several witnesses confirmed the assault. Barnes was to seek a warrant for his arrest.

Aug. 14 – J.M. Culbertson responded to a report of a disturbance at 702 Easley Hwy. where Jeremy Taylor reported that Benjamin Blando, WM, 18, 5’10″, 165 pounds, brn/hazel had left the scene but not before breaking the headlight in a neighbor’s truck. A warrant was obtained from a judge and placed with the warrant service division.

PIEDMONT

Aug. 12 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone report of a missing person Aaron Baker, 6′, 220 pounds, brn/brn of 1509 Old Williamston Rd. He left home driving a black 2015 KIA Sorento with a Clemson Paw front license plate and SC tag# DWA754.

Aug.12 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone report from Mark Minor of a stolen Honda 4 wheeler, valued at $900, from 105 Orchard Way in Piedmont.

Aug. 12 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone report from Brenda Hollingsworth at 210 Neely Rd. about a white four door sedan with a black male and white female inside. They were taking mail from various mailboxes. Hollingsworth photographed them and confronted them.

Aug. 14 – S.M. Earwood received a telephone report of a stolen license tag SC # CJP77! from the vehicle of Jimmy Edgar at 167 Effie Dr.

Aug. 15 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone complaint from David Bryant, of 1808 Elrod Rd. that someone had stolen a canoe from his yard, valued at $450.

WILLIAMSTON

Aug. 13 – Sgt. J. Bowland responded to 407 Firetower Rd. in response to a call from a juvenile female about a domestic disturbance between her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. Upon arrival with another deputy, J. Pelfrey. Bowland encountered Warren Palmer, WM, 54, 6’1″, 190 pounds, gray/blue. Bowland entered the house where he found Heather Nix, WF, 38 and her daughter Hannah. Both told of Palmer beating the mother and threatening her with a ball bat. Both females were obviously shaken and frightened. After an investigation, Palmer was arrested for criminal domestic violence.

Aug. 14 – K.S. Looney received a telephone complaint from Jennifer Sweet, that while she was at 140 Harper St. that her ex boyfriend, Adam Morgan, WM, 5’11″, 200 pounds brn/blue had taken her smart phone and refused to return it. The phone was valued at $120.
