Williamston Police Officers investigated theft of a gun, a stolen vehicle, a gun at the ballfields, minor in possession and made a drug arrest. Among incidents investigated were the following:
April 12 – Officers were dispatched to Mineral Spring Park in reference to an indecent exposure incident. According to reports a witness stated a white male on a motorcycle exposed himself to her and her child. The suspect had left before officers arrived. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Apr. 14 – Tommy Michael Harrison, 55, 107 Ballard Rd., Pelzer was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of marijuana and driving under suspension after officers responded to a vehicle accident involving two cars. Harrison’s drivers license was suspended for failure to pay a traffic ticket. A clear bag that contained approximately 15.5 grams of a green leafy substance field tested positive for marijuana. Ametal grinder with green leaf residue a set of digital scales and two metal tins with a clear bag of a white crystal substance (approx. .4 grams) field tested positive as methamphetamine. L. Buell investigated.
Apr. 17 – Austin Cole Huckabaa, 18, 144 Doris McGill Rd., Starr was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and open container after officers responded to an area behind Papa John’s Pizza, 14 Beaverdam Rd., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was a gold 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. A female juvenile in the vehicle was turned over to her mother. F. Eugene investigated.
Apr. 17 – Officers responded to the baseball field on Austin St., in reference to a black male pointing a firearm at another individual. According to reports, witnesses stated a white male and a black male with long dreads got into an argument and the black male pulled a postol and pointed it at the white male. The white male walked away at that point witnesses stated. Both men had left the scene before officers arrived.
Witnesses stated the black male had hit a ditch and stop sign as he was leaving toward Greenvile Drive in a silver Trans Am. B. K. Creel investigated.
Apr. 17 – Sherry Florance Cutliff, 44, 25 Black St., Williamston reported a North American Arms .22 caliber mini revolver stolen from her residence. The gun was valued at $222. B. K. Creel investigated.
Apr. 18 – Karen McKee Keeler, 64, 100 Gossett Dr., #E6 reported a 2007 Ford Escape stolen from the parking space in front of her apartment. The vehicle was valued at $7739. K. Anthony investigated.
