Gospel Concert to benefit old Pelzer hospital restore

A concert of old time gospel songs and hymns featuring some of the finest singers in the Upstate, including members of the cast of Smoke on the Mountain, will be held this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. in Pelzer.
More than 25 beloved songs wil be performed including

“Blessed Assurance”, “Swing Low”, “Down in the River to Pray”, “There is a Fountain”, “Because He Lives” and many more.
Featuring the talents of both familiar and new faces: Aaron Pennington, Libby Crews, Kelsey Crews, Will Ragland, Tom and Tricia Dyar, Mckelvie Wilder, Ed Chambers, and the local quartet “We Are” is an a cappella quartet of local guys from the Easley, Pickens, and Dacusville areas in the Upstate.
“We Are” includes Travis Owens, John David Hendricks, Matt Malone and Ethan Robinson. All love serving their local churches and have backgrounds rich in soulful R&B harmonies.
Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will go towards helping to save and restore the old Pelzer hospital building.
The event will be held at the Historic Pelzer Auditorium.
