One person escaped serious injury after the car she was driving left the road and struck a tree on Welcome Road on Friday night. An animal apparently was in the roadway and the driver swerved in an attempt to avoid it. Medshore Ambulance Service responded but did not transport the driver. (Photo by David Rogers)
