Williamston Police investigated the following incidents:
May 23 – George Edward Wilson, 51, 108 L St., Williamston reported an incident in which a named person got into a vehicle and spun tires causing gravel to strike his mobile home and a 1997 Ford Taurus. No injuries were reported. L. Buell investigated.
May 23 – Officers responded to 11 Shaw Drive in reference to a domestic dispute. No threats were made or any physical altercation occurred during the incident. No arrest was made. K. P. Evatt investigated.
May 23 – Christopher Todd Decker, 120 Parker St,. Williamston reported vandalism to a Model 125 John Deere riding lawn mower. Damage was estimated at $350. B. K. Creel investigated.
May 25 – Latoya Denise Greer, 37, 122 Hillcrest Dr., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding after a red 2008 Chevrolet was observed traveling 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Ida Tucker Road. Greer was transported to ACDC and the vehicle was towed. B. K. Creel investigated.
May 27 – Seth Joseph Williams, 33, 15 Sunset Ct., Williamston was arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools after officers responded to the area of Mill Street near the railroad crossing in reference to a subject armed with a firearm that was observed entering a storage building behind a residence at 209 Mill St. Officers observed the suspect enter the woodline headed toward Royal Drive. With the assistance of West Pelzer Police Chief Clardy and county deputies a perimeter was set up and the suspect was observed running on foot towards Knight Street from the area of Hamilton Hills. Williams was taken into custody at Knight St near Mill St. The case was presented to Judge Lollis and the two warrants were issued. Williams was transported to ACDC without incident. F. E.
