Whitefield firefighters work at the scene of a two vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon. At least three people were taken to an area hospital after the vehicles collided at the intersection of Breazeale and Mitchell Roads. One of the vehicles came to rest on a high pressure natural gas stand. It took several hours to turn the gas off so the vehicle could be removed safely.
