This meeting has been postponed due to inclement weather associated with Hurricane Irma. It will be rescheduled soon according to SCDOT.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has scheduled a Public Information Meeting for the proposed S-75 (Cherokee Road) interchange improvements and bridge replacement over US 29 in Anderson County.
The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at Palmetto Middle School, located at 803 North Hamilton St. in Williamston.
The meeting will have a drop-in type format with displays for viewing and citizens will have the opportunity to provide written comments.  Project information, including meeting materials and comment forms will also be available on the SCDOT website.
The proposed project will replace the existing S-75 (Cherokee Road) bridge over US 29, while improving the interchange configuration of US 29 and S-75 (Cherokee Road), and constructing new roundabout intersections at S-96 (Joe Black Road) and Twenty Nine Court. As part of these improvements, Twenty Nine Court would also be extended to S-75.  Existing traffic would be re-routed during the construction of the bridge over US 29 and during the construction of the intersection improvements.
