A 9/11 Memorial Service was held Saturday at the Williamston Fire Department. The service included recognition of first responders including Williamston Police Department, Williamston Fire Department and MedShore EMS, special guest speakers, placing of a memorial wreath in front of the 9/11 marker, playing of taps and gun salute by Williamston police officers.
