The Southern Greenville County Citizens Group (SGCCG) will be holding a debate for the candidates running in the District 28 SC House of Representatives Special Election.
The debate will be held on Mon., Oct. 9 at 7:00 at the Augusta Road Ruritan Club, 7788 Augusta Rd., Piedmont. The Special Election is being held to fill the position being vacated by Rep. Eric Bedingfield. Durant Ashmore will be the moderator.
The four Republican candidates who have signed up are Krystal Blume, Jonathan Smith, Ashley Trantham and William Welch. The primary will be held on Nov. 14. If a runoff is necessary, it will be held on Nov. 28. There are no Democrats signed up.
