The public is invited to attend an information session regarding findings from a six-month assessment of Anderson County’s Criminal Justice System including the jail.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office along with Anderson County Government will be hosting the public information session in County Council Chambers on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Information will be presented by assessors from the National Institute of Corrections with expected topics to include: jail observations and impressions, alternatives or processes that could impact jail population, facility development and needs assessment and planning.
